Mr. Feng Yuqing joined ZY Partners in September of 2014. Prior to ZY Partners, he worked at Liu, Shen & Associates for seven years and then at CCPIT for two years. Mr. Feng graduated from Peking University with a B.S. in nuclear physics in 2002 and then received a M.S. in condensed matter physics from Chinese Academy of Science in 2005. In 2010, Mr. Feng had a legal training on US patent law at a US firm.

Mr. Feng has practiced patent law for over 11 years with extensive experience in all aspects of intellectual property. He has expertise in patent prosecution, including patent drafting, reexamination, invalidation and appeal. Mr. Feng works with clients of all sizes to procure intellectual property rights and protect their innovations in China. He has filed and prosecuted over 1,000 patent applications before the SIPO.

Mr. Feng also helps local clients develop and manage their patent portfolios through intellectual property strategies that are integrated with their business goals. He works with the clients to develop, protect and leverage their intellectual property rights in China and abroad. He has also been consulted in matters related to patentability and FTO opinions. Mr. Feng has filed and prosecuted over 100 patent applications in other countries or regions like USA, EU, JP, KR, TW, etc.

Mr. Feng represents clients in a wide range of technologies such as semiconductors, electronics, telecommunication, telematics, computer and software.

Mr. Feng is a member of the All China Patent Agents Association.
