Ms. Wang has been admitted to practice law in China and joined ZY Partners since 2010. She is an experienced litigator in the field of IP law. She has in-depth knowledge of court procedures and represents multinational clients in litigation actions in relation to trademarks, copyright, and unfair competition.

Ms. Wang manages trademark portfolios for multinational corporations across a range of industries, including fashion, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, electronics, internet and technology. She has represented clients to obtain first well-known mark recognition for their brands before the Trademark Office/Trademark Review and Adjudication Board and the courts. Some of the litigation cases that Ms. Wang has handled have been selected as the Supreme Court’s guiding cases and/or typical cases for the lower courts. She was recognized as one of IP House’s Top 50 China Excellent IP Lawyers in 2021 and 2023. Her recent successes include:

Successfully represented a famous UK automaker in an unfair competition litigation against a local rival for making cars before Beijing IP Court; 

Successfully represented a multinational company in a trademark infringement and unfair competition litigation to get the full compensation that incurred prior to the invalidation of the registered infringing marks before Zhejiang Higher Court;  

Successfully represented a listed internet company to overcome CNIPA’s decision and obtain first well-known mark recognition before Beijing Higher Court; 

Successfully represented an industry-leading software company in a trademark prosecution case before the Beijing Higher Court to overcome CNIPA’s decision on lacking distinctiveness Article 11 of Trademark Law; 

Successfully represented a famous winery in a trademark prosecution case before the Beijing IP Court to overcome CNIPA’s decision on unwholesome social influence under Article 10.1(8) of Trademark Law.
